Storages

Named places to keep research data. Mouseion decides where each one physically lives.

New storage

A name is all Mouseion needs. Region, bucket and prefix are assigned for you.

Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. 3–64 characters.

Read and write this storage from a script or notebook. Mouseion handles the AWS credentials.

Grant access

Give another Mouseion user or a group access to this storage. They'll need their Mouseion ID.

Rename

The name is how people find this storage. Its location never changes.

Deactivate

Deactivating hides this storage from listings and stops new credentials being issued. Nothing is deleted. Credentials already issued keep working until they expire.

Access token

The token that proves who you are to the Mouseion API. Use it when you call the API directly or from a script. Storage credentials are separate — Mouseion issues those per storage.

Sign out

Signing out clears this device's session. A token you already copied keeps working until it expires — but if your account is deactivated, it stops working immediately.

Use this storage from code

Paste this into a script or notebook to work with .

Mouseion never shows AWS keys in the browser. This code asks Mouseion for its own short-lived, prefix-scoped credentials and renews them as they expire — so it keeps working for as long as your job runs.
Needs MOUSEION_TOKEN — Access token screen → Copy token.
